QR Codes

A QR Code (Quick Response code) is a two dimensional bar code which can be read by QR barcode readers installed as an app on a smart phone. Originally created in Japan QR Codes are now slowly beginning to appear in magazines and advertisements in the UK. The information contained in a QR Code can be text, a url to link to a website page, a telephone number... the list is endless.

How Do I Use a QR Code

To use a QR Code you need to make sure you have a QR Reader installed on your phone, if not you should be able to download one of these for free:

• For iPhone download Qrafter
• For Android download ZXing
• For Blackberry download QR Code Scanner Pro
• For Nokia download Mbarcode
• For other devices try Kaywa or QuickMark

Once you have a reader on your phone simply open the App and let the reader scan the QR Code, the App will read the code and allow you to save / use the information. Try it out with our QR Code this will allow you to save our web address to your favourites.
